What Is A Familiar?
According to the Merriam-Webster online dictionary, a Familiar is defined as follows:

Familiar (n): 1) a spirit often embodied as an animal and held to attend and serve or guard a person, 2) one who is often seen and well known, and 3) a member of the household of a high official.

And, according to the online Britannica Encyclopedia, it is defined as follows:

Familiar, in Western demonology, (is a) small animal or imp kept as a witch’s attendant, given by the devil or inherited from another witch.

We believe that animals have different energies all of their own, and that they offer that magic to us as practitioners in countless ways on a daily basis. Many of us are pet lovers and owners, and this project was created to honor the people worldwide that work to create safe, natural, and enriching environments for animals of all species, just as much as honor the animals themselves, after all...
